The Mungo is back in town……

For those observant ones amongst you you may have noticed the M.V. Mungo has not been around in January. This was due to her being in Dry Dock in Hull for one of her Special Surveys. She is now back in the water and busy again but we thought you may like to see some of the shots of her out of the water during the work.

Sorry for the delay in getting these onto the site but we were trying to do our bit in supporting some good causes for Christmas; bringing over the Christmas Tree from 30th Regiment and shipping nearly 1800 shoe boxes from jersey to Poole; please find letters attached

Busiest Hill Climb Event yet for Alderney Shipping

Last week saw the Annual Alderney Hill climb event, always a success and this one was no different. Alderney Shipping shipped 73 vehicles from Guernsey to Alderney for the event – the busiest yet from our records! We would like to say an enormous thank you to the Harbour employees both in Alderney and Guernsey for all their hard work, support and teamwork; it was greatly appreciated and made a true difference with such busy loads.

Many thanks too to the organisers of the event who helped ensure logistics were as smooth as could be. We would also like to thank as always all our employees involved in this work too; for their dedication, great teamwork and continuous smiles J at such a busy time! Many thanks to all!
